LET'S MAKE ACCORDION ART BOOK TOGETHER!
MIKI HOUSE invites children and families to Accordion Art Book Making
Event at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street in New York City on Saturday,
November 8.
Accordion Art Book is one of the Japanese
traditional book formats. It can be read as a regular book when it is
folded, and it also presents a panoramic picture when the book is pulled
off.
During the event, Yukie Yasui, an acclaimed Japanese
illustrator, will instruct children how to create their own holiday
towns on the accordion art books by collage, drawing and decorating with
unlimited imagination and creativity.
To celebrate holiday
season, a portion of the MIKI HOUSE’s proceeds of the event day will be
donated to The Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit organization that has
provided free summer experiences in the country to more than 1.8 million
New York City children from low-income communities, creating
unforgettable memories and fresh opportunities.
